Jackson signs on
Excellent news this week with Peter Jackson agreeing to stay with the Dees until at least the end of 2014 and committing to oversight the implementation of the changes that he will be recommending to the Board.
Last week
We saw an excellent performance from our sponsored player Chris Dawes who took 12 marks, had 21 disposals and kicked a goal in only his fourth game for the club – and 75th overall. Early on in the first quarter I had been wondering who that No 6 was gathering marks and kicks on the half back flank when I realized that it was a really slimmed down and very fit looking Chris Dawes. A great example is being set by our lad!
This week
Colin Sylvia and defender Tom McDonald return for the match against Collingwood at the MCG. James Sellar, Sam Blease and Max Gawn are also in their squad named on an extended bench, along with Jordie McKenzie, Dean Kent, Luke Tapscott and Rohan Bail.
